Review: "I Love This Box"

It feels a bit weird being home on a Friday night..Slightly sick =[ I must say I feel like a truck has ran over my throat -_o

A few weeks ago, I was sent the “I Love This Box” to review. This was my first time reviewing it, so I was quite excited! Opening the items, it was carefully packaged in a beautiful sheer white box which came with purple tissue paper.

I was super excited to try the Sunsilk “Frizz & weather defense” serum, it smelled amazing.

It also came with the –Maybelline XXL PRO Mascara

-An Essie mini Grey nail polish (LOVE how their nail polish lasts forever!

-Thalgo hydrating Lotion

And some sort of fuzzy lollipop stick..(This I was a tad confused about..LOL), although I guess it was a cute decoration piece.

Overall, after trying the Sunsilk Serum, I’m not even going to beat around the bush..I honestly loved the way it made my hair feel! Let me know if you’ve been a subscriber of the box..and what you think of it so far? =] All the items seem to be appropriate!

I have to go fill my body with tea now..haha…I guess 4 cups didn’t help already?! -_-

Mmm Tea + Honey = amazing.

Sending you all hugs & kisses.

Keep Smiling

Steve Jobs & the Desire to Succeed.

A few weeks ago mum & I had a random coffee date on a Monday Morning; thought I post about it here too, as it was on my Facebook page.

I’ve always loved those days when you can randomly hang out with the ones you love; and it’s always the last minute outings that end up being the most fun.

Secondly, if you also follow me on Twitter, you’d know how a few months ago, I finished reading the Steve Jobs Biography. I’ve never been one to really read about technology and computers (Ironic..I know), although when I passed by this book at the shopping Centre, I kind of had to think twice…I gave it a go.

It took me a few days to finish the entire book, and let me assure you, it wasn’t a thin book!

Inspirational and motivating aren’t even the right words to describe it. The way it’s written by Walter Isaacson, allows readers to grab onto every single word and gain the desire to become fuelled with drive.

Once this book was put down, I kid you not; I had a new outlook on life, will power and a desire for motivation. One cannot say the impact this book had had; although I will leave it to you guys to let me know what you think of it, once read.

You will not be regretting it. I promise.

“The People Who Are Crazy Enough to Think They Can Change the World, Are the Ones Who Do.”- Steve Jobs.

Lots of Love from me to you...

Keep Smiling.

Review: Lust Have it!

Happy Monday to all my Beauties!
So in these past few months, there have been a few organizations and teams that have come up with "Monthly Beauty Boxes". Some with great products, some with ones that aren’t bad, and some..You seem to question about. I must say what I did enjoy about "Lust Have It", was that everyone got the same products, and they tend to each month. This was my first Lust Box I received, so I didn't know what to really expect.
Unlike other Monthly Boxes, it didn’t come with an actual box, although the products were just packed surrounding tissue paper. I guess this was a great way to save money, and not waste boxes.

What I was most excited about was the Karpati Nail polish! Being a person that changes her nail polish color..Weekly..if not daily..This was great for me. As I’m always rushing..What better way to apply nail polish?! You simply place the polish in between your fingers so it doesn’t spill and apply the color!

This month’s "Lust Have It" also came with a Mirenesse, Pearl Crush eye shadow, in beautiful shades of blue, which also looked chic and eye catching!

Secondly, it came with a Davroe Moisture Senses Argan Oil, a lip balm and a replenishing Moisture cream from Kosmea..That just smelt sexy..No other word to describe it! =]

Overall I must say, they were products that seem to be useful and well thought about.

Let me know what you thought about your box!

Keep Smiling!

Outfit Of the Day: Girls Day Out!

This morning as I sipped onto my coffee, I thought besides re decorating my room, studying and organizing my things around, I wanted to do something different on a Saturday morning. For the past few weeks I’ve been so caught up with University and assignments I had almost forgotten what it felt like to do nothing for once...well almost nothing.

I decided to have a Girls Day Out with my sister & mum. We had a walk down a nearby lake with the dogs, and then headed for lunch and coffee. Time goes by so fast, that it’s these times when one realizes and remembers to embrace it with the ones you love and adore.

I also thought I might start doing "Outfit Of the Day" type posts, although in images..let me know what you think?! =]

I'm wearing black pants from Factory, my Singlet’s from Forecast and my jackets from Fox Foe.
The knee high grey boots are from LA, not sure which store.

To accessories, I wore my Gold Guess watch..I know What’s new? lol
I’m also wearing a few random bracelets and the cutest charm bracelet I found from http://www.cutey.co.uk/
definitely check them out, they're so delicate, pretty and great gift ideas.

Hope everyone’s having a lovely weekend.

Love Lilian
